Role
Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
ResponsibilitiesAssist patients recovering from injuries or illness to improve movement, mobility, and activity levels under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Follow treatment plans, document progress, and support restorative programs, transfers, gait training, wheelchair management, and ADL-focused interventions.
Qualifications & SkillsAssociate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, active NY State PTA license, and BLS certification. Preferred experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
Key DutiesProvide therapy services in a skilled nursing environment, follow established treatment plans, and document patient progress. Work day shifts, with a focus on patient recovery and mobility support.
