Licensed Mental Health Therapist | Telehealth; NY

Thriving Center of Psychology is hiring a New York Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) to work a full-time, salaried, telehealth position, see patients remotely with our growing practice.

You must already hold an active, clear New York license: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT. We are unable to accept candidates still working toward licensure at this time.

We are a top rated, clinician-led group practice founded by psychologists, with offices in Midtown and Soho. We built the practice we wanted to work in: real colleagues, real consultation, and the support to do excellent clinical work without carrying the business of a practice on your own.

Most therapist jobs today are 1099 contracts on telehealth platforms without community and you work largely alone. We are built the other way.

• An active and clear New York license: LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or marriage and family therapy.

• At least 1 year of experience providing therapy to adults independently in outpatient.

• Must be able to work a 40 hour work week, with a goal of seeing 27 clients per week.

• Comfort carrying a full clinical caseload of adult clients.

• A collaborative approach and a commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.

• Experience delivering psychotherapy via telehealth.

• Must reside in either NY, NJ or MA.

• To be considered, we are unable to hire current Thriving Center clients at this time.

• Provide psychotherapy to adults across a range of presenting concerns by telehealth.

• Use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.

• Carry a sustainable caseload with the support of weekly case consultation.

• Maintain timely, high-quality clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of LCSW, LMHC, and LMFTclinicians.

• A salary of $80,000 to $105,000 per year, depending on license, plus a 5% performance bonus.
