Summary
The main function of a Bioanalytical Analyst is to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of biological samples to support drug development, clinical trials, and regulatory submissions. A typical Bioanalytical Analyst ensures the accuracy and reliability of data while adhering to industry standards and protocols.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct bioanalytical assays such as LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and immunoassays
- Analyze and interpret data from biological samples
- Prepare and validate analytical methods and protocols
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
- Document procedures, results, and observations in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives
- Participate in troubleshooting and optimization of analytical methods
- Expertise in bioanalytical techniques such as LC-MS/MS, HPLC, and immunoassays
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with data analysis software and tools
Bachelors degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field required; masters degree preferred 2-4 years of experience in bioanalytical testing, pharmaceutical development, or a related area
