Become part of Restaurant Associates, the industry’s leading provider of dining and event catering for some of the nation's most prestigious museums, performing arts centers and corporations. This is an entry‑level Executive Catering Manager role with a strong interest in hospitality, catering, and event management. This position supports event planning, coordination, and execution while participating in hands‑on learning and development programs.

This is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals looking to grow into a leadership position within catering operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing catered events, meetings, receptions, and special functions.
  • Support menu planning, event setup, décor preparation, logistics, and on-site coordination.
  • Help ensure all events meet brand standards and client expectations.
  • Serve as a client-facing support resource, responding to inquiries and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Participate in pre‑event briefings and post‑event reviews to improve processes.
  • Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and communication with hourly event teams.
  • Support budgeting, invoice processing, cost tracking, and other administrative tasks.
  • Help manage inventory, equipment organization, and catering materials.
  • Engage in Restaurant Associates’ training programs, workshops, and skill‑building opportunities.
  • Develop foundational leadership abilities to support future advancement within the company.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and support operational needs as required.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary, Business, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interest in catering, event planning, or hospitality leadership.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer‑service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to take initiative, learn, and participate actively in training programs.
  • Flexible work hours, primarily Monday through Friday
