Andaz Lisbon is looking for a Host to join its team!

The soon-to-open Andaz Lisbon will be the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and will represent a fundamental milestone in Hyatt’s continued expansion in Southern Europe, as well as the brand’s first Managed Hotel in Portugal.

The role will be responsible for welcoming and assisting guests with excellence, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience aligned with the sophisticated and exclusive standards of a luxury lifestyle hotel.

Main Responsibilities
  • Warmly welcome guests with courtesy, professionalism, and personalized attention.
  • Perform check‑in and check‑out processes with speed, accuracy, and clear communication.
  • Manage reservations, inquiries, and cancellations using the hotel management system (Opera Cloud).
  • Provide detailed information about hotel services, local attractions, and events.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and guest requests, ensuring proper follow‑up.
  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and empathetically.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to guarantee guest comfort and satisfaction.
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy and elegant, reflecting the lifestyle concept of the hotel.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on protocols and service improvements.
Qualifications Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills, friendliness, and professional demeanor.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and capacity to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera Cloud) is a plus.
  • Proactivity, discretion, and a guest‑focused mindset.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Rotating schedules, including night shifts, always under the supervision of senior leadership.
Education and Experience
  • Proven experience in luxury hotel reception or lifestyle segments.
  • Technical or higher education in Hospitality, Tourism, or related fields is valued.
