Cabana Attendant

There is nothing like a day at the beach especially if you happen to work there! JBay, LLC strives to provide extraordinary hospitality for members of its beach clubs in Breezy Point, NY and are looking for variable (seasonal) associates to join our talented teams for the upcoming 2026 Summer Season.

This is a seasonal position and the anticipated first day of work is in May 2026 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2026.

• Open and set up cabanas as needed by guests
• Assist guests by carrying belongings to and from cabanas / cars
• Ensure all empty accommodations are locked at the end of shift
• Report missing or damaged items to the cabana attendant supervisor, turn all lost and found items to management
• Pick up recycling directly from cabanas, sweep decks and steps throughout the day
• Responsible for sweeping and picking up trash under and around trash cans against fencing, and disposing of trash in appropriate spaces
• Timely and efficiently deliver company’s F & B menus and food orders to cabanas as requested.
• Provide timely, courteous, and professional service to all guests
• Adhere to the company’s policy regarding reporting all tips.
• Maintain all health and safety standards, including the proper sanitizing of assigned areas as required

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Must report ALL tips via timeclock as per company policy
• Approximately 90% of workday will be spent outdoors
• Must work entire season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day without any vacation, or time away from work.
• Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs.
• Always maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to ensure an excellent guest experience.
• Must be a minimum of 17 years of age

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (we accept high school juniors & seniors)

Experience:

One (1) year of customer service experience preferred

Resort / National Park experience preferred

Hourly rate of pay $14.15 plus tips (ALL tips are required to be reported as per IRS regulations)
