Location: New York

Assist in the management of event workflow between the Sales Team and the Kitchen:

  • Enter final menus into Caterease for all events, including quantification and all modifications from Yolanda’s notes
  • Manage all menu changes and updates – ensuring complete communication to all teams
  • Adjust menu item quantities after Design PO mock-up
  • Review event POs and process changes as needed – ensuring complete communication to all teams
Manage and maintain menu item picture database. Event Info Emails and Binders:
  • Monitor communication between event staff and ACQ -- help facilitate answers to questions and update paperwork
  • Make sure event staff is receiving updated information in Event Info Emails and Event Binders
  • Manage menu item pictures that are sent in the Chef Binder
Assist in the maintenance of the menu databases in Caterease and PowerPoint:
  • Detail ingredients and quantities for custom items
  • Update descriptions and ingredients in Master Menu
  • Perform detailed quantity analysis and calculations in caterease to ensure menu counts accurately reflect final sales.
Manage tasting documentation process with ACQ Intern. Communicate and track the purchase and delivery of all specialty menu items ordered by the Sales Team. Must have strong skills in culinary math, including:
  • Unit measurement and conversions (standard and metric)
  • Recipe scaling, ratios and proportions
  • Percent yield calculations
  • Food purchasing and costing experience a plus
Position Requirements :
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Caterease strongly preferred
  • At least two years of experience as a manager in a culinary-related field
