The Club serves 1,450 members (625 Regular), generating $18.5M in annual revenue, including $4.5M in Food & Beverage.
LYC is a busy, year-round operation that offers a full-service clubhouse, multiple dining venues, beach grill and terrace, pool complex, racquets facilities, robust sailing programming, overnight accommodations, and a dynamic calendar of social and sailing events. This is a rare opportunity to elevate the hospitality experience at a club rich with tradition that continues to evolve.
The OpportunityReporting to and working closely with the GM/COO, the Clubhouse Manager serves as the operational leader of the clubhouse experience, overseeing:
- Dining & Event Services
- Front Desk Operations
- Seasonal Gatehouse & Pool Desk
Direct reports include - Assistant Clubhouse Manager (catering/events, youth and family activities, swim and dive coach), Director of Dining Services, Housekeeping Manager, Front Desk Coordinator, Gatehouse Supervisor (seasonal), Pool Desk (seasonal)
This highly visible leader ensures seamless daily operations, exceptional service standards, and a welcoming member atmosphere. The role blends hands‑on leadership with strategic oversight.
The Ideal CandidateLYC seeks a polished and experienced hospitality professional with:
- 5–7 years of leadership experience in private clubs or luxury hospitality
- Strong food & beverage expertise with a reach and impact into other areas of the club operation outside of the dining room
- Proven financial and budget management skills
- Experience with club technology and POS systems
- Presence and exceptional interpersonal skills, genuinely enjoys building relationships with members and staff alike
- Experience working within a committee system
