Position TitleFront of House Manager
Salary$70,000 to $85,000
Job SummaryReporting directly to the General Manager, the Front of House Manager assists with day‑to‑day operations at Little Island. The role requires excellent communication, strong multitasking, leadership, and superior food and beverage quality with strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities- Schedules, trains, manages, and develops staff
- Manages budget and inventory
- Trains and supervises alcoholic beverage service
- Assists with catering events tied to outdoor venues
- Establishes beverage program and seasonal specials
- Purchases alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages
- Maintains a positive working relationship with staff, venue client, and production team
- Works with vendors to increase positive cost results
- Collaborates with venue house managers regarding attendance and staffing to achieve maximum results
- Experience managing others and strong communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, self‑motivation, planning skills, and timely decision‑making
- Ability to track large inventories and budgets
- Availability to work late afternoon into nights and weekends
- Quick grasp of responsibilities and desire to lead
- Creativity with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of the business and the market
- Experience in finance, loss prevention, and HR
- College degree and management experience, particularly in the beverage industry
- Certification in service training, alcohol service, safe food handling, and first aid
- Knowledge of all state and local alcohol laws
- Experience with large venue operations and high volume
