Assistant Operations Manager – Housekeeping

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented leader to help elevate our housekeeping operations. In this role, you’ll partner with the Executive Housekeeper to oversee all aspects of housekeeping—from guest rooms to public spaces—ensuring every corner reflects Hyatt’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading daily operations across housekeeping and public areas
  • Coaching, developing, and scheduling team members
  • Delivering exceptional guest experiences, including VIP and high-profile guests
  • Upholding safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence
  • Fostering a positive, high‑performing team environment
Qualifications
  • Passion for service and creating memorable guest experiences
  • 1-2 years of progressive experience in hotel rooms or housekeeping leadership
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Collaborative, high‑energy leadership style
  • Attention to detail and a drive for operational excellence
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Union experience (preferred)
  • Hospitality degree (a plus)
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, ability to provide exceptional customer service and improve the bottom line
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Union experience strongly preferred
What You’ll Earn

Salary: $66,300 – $72,000 (based on experience)
