Compensation:
The hourly base pay is $17 per hour plus tips.
The work schedule for this position is weekends 8 am‑4 pm or 12 noon‑8 pm.

SummaryThe Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, opening vehicle and hotel doors, helping with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries, delivering messages or items, and shuttling guests to approved locations.
Essential Functions (Percent of Time)- Maintains a pleasant, friendly, professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients – 25%
- Uses the salutation of the day, welcomes guests, practices proper phone etiquette, and posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks – 10%
- Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously, assists guests with bell services and luggage storage, opens all vehicle and hotel doors – 20%
- Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions; delivers messages, items, or guest amenities; shuttles guests to approved locations – 10%
- Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks only after keys are received; maintains ticket information; calculates revenue – 35%
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Required Licensure, Certification, etc.:
Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
Work Experience:
One month related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge:
Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Ability to read and write standard English.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
- Basic arithmetic skills with money.
- Understanding of 24‑hour and military time.
- Understanding of rates applicable to time passed.
- Manual transmission operation (highly desirable).
- Perform parallel parking.
Job is fairly routine; follows established practices and procedures. Incumbent acts within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect smooth and efficient operation of the department.

Working Conditions & Physical DemandsJob requires talking or hearing regularly; sitting or standing for extended periods; running; walking; handling or feeling objects; reaching; climbing stairs; balance; stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and adjusting focus.
Lifting: up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds constantly.
Environment:
Majority outdoors for full shift, including extreme heat and cold. Protection from weather conditions may be provided but is not guaranteed.
Travel up to 5% may be required.
