Overview

Our client, a luxury hospitality group, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join their team in New York, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for training and mentoring front-of-house staff, partnering with the General Manager to ensure all operational standards are upheld.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations across all departments including sales, production, customer service, and inventory.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Foster a positive work culture and team environment, mentoring front-of-house employees to achieve professional success within the organization.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and implementing solutions, as necessary.
  • Help implement strategies to improve customer retention and brand loyalty.
  • Assist in overseeing inventory management, ensuring stock levels are appropriate and costs are controlled.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, customer feedback, and employee satisfaction to the GM and senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • 3-4+ years of management experience, preferably within a fine-dining restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility in schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
