Role Overview

The Catering Manager 3 is the on‑site leader responsible for delivering high‑end, seamless catering operations for Sodexo’s Corporate Services account in Hudson Yards, New York City. This role oversees all aspects of catering production, service execution, event logistics, and client engagement within a fast‑paced, high‑visibility corporate environment.

As the primary driver of catering excellence, the Catering Manager 3 manages event planning, staffing, service standards, and day‑of execution across a diverse portfolio of corporate events—from executive meetings and board‑level functions to large‑scale receptions and specialty activations. Success in this role requires strong expertise in premium catering operations, event logistics management, and client service leadership.

The Catering Manager 3 partners closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and client stakeholders to ensure flawless event delivery and continuous improvement. This includes excellence in food safety compliance, labor and financial oversight, and team development. What

You'll Do

Lead Premium Catering Operations — Oversee all catering production and service delivery for executive meetings, board‑level events, receptions, and specialty activations.
Manage Event Planning & Logistics — Coordinate event details, timelines, room setups, staffing, and service flow to ensure flawless execution.
Direct Catering Service Teams — Train, coach, and supervise front‑of‑house catering staff to deliver polished, high‑touch hospitality.
Ensure Food Safety & Compliance — Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, Sodexo policies, and regulatory requirements across all catering operations.
Support Labor & Financial Management — Assist with labor planning, scheduling, cost control, and budget alignment for catering programs.
Partner With Culinary & Client Leadership — Collaborate with the Executive Chef, GM, and client stakeholders to enhance service standards, innovate offerings, and elevate the guest experience.
