The Court Attendant is responsible for supporting daily court operations while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role assists with court bookings, guest check-in, and maintaining clean, safe, and organized court facilities. The Court Attendant plays an important role in ensuring courts are properly set up and that guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate is service‑oriented, reliable, and attentive to detail.
CourtOperations & Scheduling
- Assist with managing court bookings, including rentals, lessons, and reservations.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and professionally.
- Provide accurate information on services, programs, events, and memberships.
- Schedule guests for court time, lessons, and activities.
- Maintain and update the court and event calendar as directed.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and hospitality to all guests.
- Answer guest questions and assist with equipment, rules, and general inquiries.
- Help create a welcoming, organized, and professional court environment.
- Escalate guest concerns or issues to a supervisor when necessary.
- Assist with retail and beverage cart operations, including processing transactions accurately.
- Promote court programs, lessons, and retail offerings when appropriate.
- Support inventory tracking and restocking of retail items and supplies.
- Ensure courts are clean, safe, and properly set up before and after use.
- Perform routine upkeep such as net adjustments, court sweeping, and equipment organization.
- Monitor court conditions and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Maintain organization and presentation of all court areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
- Assist with court‑related events, tournaments, and special programming.
- Support event setup, breakdown, and guest assistance during programming.
- Work with instructors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle POS transactions, payments, and basic record‑keeping accurately.
- Assist with tracking court usage and daily activity logs.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Desk, Events, Recreation) as needed.
- Follow and enforce court rules, policies, and safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.
- Ensure proper use and handling of equipment and supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, or customer service preferred.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Knowledge of court sports (e.g., tennis, pickleball) is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., equipment, supplies).
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
