Aquatics Attendant
Tem Positions Eden Hospitality is currently recruiting an Aquatics Attendant for a renowned private membership club in NYC. A few points to note about the position are:
- Great opportunity for applicant with attendant experience working in a pool, full-service spa, guest services, locker room, recreation, beach, etc.
- Position is temp-to-hire
- 35-hour work week, but scheduled days may encompass 7 days so weekends and/or holidays will be required. Anticipated schedule is:
- Sunday-Monday
-OFF - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 3:30 p.m.
-11:00 p.m. - Friday: 12:00 noon- 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 11:00 a.m.
- 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday-Monday
- Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
The Aquatics Attendant is responsible for delivering an exceptional experience for member sand their guests. This role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across all aquatic and locker room facilities while providing top-tier customer service and administrative support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Services & Administration- Warmly greet and check in members and guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer incoming phone calls, address inquiries, and direct messages appropriately.
- Manage scheduling and bookings for swimming and massage reservations.
- Securely manage and check in member valuables according to facility protocols.
- Sell and serve beverages in accordance with club policies and safety regulations.
- Perform standard opening and closing procedures for the Aquatics facilities.
- Monitor the pool area to consistently enforce club rules, safety regulations, and guidelines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the pool deck, steam room, sauna, showers, and restroom areas.
- Ensure common areas and locker rooms are vacuumed, dusted, and mirrors are cleaned.
- Regularly restock amenities, towels, and hygiene products throughout the facility.
- Safely handle and utilize cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety standards.
- Experience:
1–2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a club/recreation environment - Physical Demands:
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 30–50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods. - Skills:
Strong communication skills and a high level of comfort multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
