Substitute Core Agent

Position Overview

Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is looking for a Substitute Core Agent who shares a passion for excellence and infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The role reports to the Core Manager and requires work authorization for the location.

An architectural icon in the heart of Lower Manhattan. The hotel is located in Tri Be Ca  and steps away from the city’s authentic neighbourhoods.

• Sell the hotel and provide information to prospective guests.
• Capture sales from incoming calls and coordinate reservation details for all hotel rooms, spa, restaurants/bar, and room service.
• Ensure guests are well looked after from the start.
• Maintain flawless operation of all communication channels, including phone and paging system.
• Provide general information about the hotel, assist callers, and respond to emergencies by connecting to appropriate individuals.
• Serve as the friendly and courteous voice of Room Service and Housekeeping Team.
• Act as authority on available food menus, specials, alternative cuisine, and beverage lists.
• Make recommendations to accommodate guests’ preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Oversee the full sequence of service, ensuring guest accommodations, calls, food and beverage orders, and housekeeping requests are correctly processed and delivered within stated time frames.

We are looking for an individual who possesses a strong affinity for guest service, with excellent phone skills, ability to multitask, problem solve, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications include:

• Experience as a customer service professional.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant voice and positive attitude.
• High volume guest contact experience and fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Ability to assume department responsibility in manager’s absence.
• Solid food and beverage knowledge.
• Flexible schedule, availability for all shifts including weekends and holidays.

Hourly Rate of pay Range: $30-$39.
