Position OverviewWe are seeking a polished, professional Hostess to be the first and last impression of our guests’ experience. This role is essential in setting the tone for service, managing reservations and flow, and ensuring every guest receives a warm, seamless, and elevated welcome.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and welcome guests with poise, warmth, and professionalism
- Manage reservations, guest lists, and table assignments with precision
- Control the flow of the room to maintain optimal service and ambiance
- Communicate effectively with management, servers, and security
- Handle VIP guests, special requests, and high-profile clientele with discretion
- Maintain an organized entrance, host stand, and waiting area
- Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations
- Uphold the venue’s standards of presentation, hospitality, and service
- 2+ years of experience as a Hostess in an upscale restaurant, lounge, or nightlife setting
- Strong presence, polished appearance, and confident demeanor
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-energy environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with reservation systems (e.g., Open Table, Resy) preferred
- Experience working with VIP clientele and high-volume environments
- Background in luxury hospitality or fine dining
