Bell​/Door Attendant

Summary

The Bell person/Door Attendant position will assist the Rooms leadership team in providing exceptional experiences to our guests. The focus of the role will be to engage guests throughout the hotel and manage the full‑cycle guest experience. This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company’s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.

• Welcome guests to the hotel and ensure a pleasant arrival and departure.
• Coordinate with Valet Parking vendor to handle guests’ valet parking.
• Maintain the hotel’s front drive, ensuring the entrance is clear for all guests.
• Answer questions and offer assistance, providing accurate information regarding outlet hours, hotel services, and directions to local attractions or meeting spaces.
• Deliver guest luggage.
• Facilitate hotel room orientations.
• Deliver items to guest rooms as needed.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and strive to create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may be outside the scope of duties based on business needs.

• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Luxury hotel experience preferred.
• Previous Bell position experience preferred.

• Must be able to stand and move well‑paced for up to 6 hours.
• Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 60 lbs., including, but not limited to, luggage, guest items and bags on a regular basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

The pay scale for the bell/door attendant is $28.46 per hour. This is the base hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
