Housekeeper, Hospitality ​/ Hotel ​/ Catering

Overview

As a luxury assisted living community, The Bristal operates much like a high-end hotel. We are seeking experienced, responsible and thorough Housekeepers to create and maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for residents. You will maintain resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, and surrounding areas with a friendly, courteous, and positive attitude. You will interact with residents, families, other guests, and team members in a pleasant and professional manner.

The duties include cleaning assigned areas in accordance with guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping. The level of care, attention to detail, and customer service you provide are fundamental to the residents’ quality of life.

• Clean resident apartments, restrooms, common areas, offices, and surrounding areas according to housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with a friendly, courteous, and positive attitude.
• Interact with residents, families, guests, and team members in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Follow guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping.

• A pleasant and courteous demeanor when dealing with peers, supervisors, guests, residents, and management.
• Must be swift yet thorough with cleaning practices.
• Experience providing cleaning services in restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel, hospitality, or similar industry is a plus.
• Experience working with a senior population is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting demanding expectations.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to adapt to different personality types and situations in positive ways.
• Reliability, caring attitude, and positivity in actions and demeanor.
• Maintains respect for the elderly and remains calm at all times.
• Must be able to work at least one weekend day per week (Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday).
