Event Server​/Bartender

Tastings NYC is looking for motivated, reliable, and professional Event Servers and Bartenders to join our growing hospitality team for events across New York City and the surrounding area, including the Hamptons and other event destinations

We are a high-end catering and event company based in New York, working on private dinners, corporate receptions, institutional events, and brand activations across NYC, the Hamptons, and the broader region

This opportunity is ideal for students, young professionals, restaurant servers, bartenders, and hospitality profiles looking for flexible event-based work alongside their studies or current job.

As part of our event team, you may support Tastings events through set-up, food and beverage service, guest assistance, bar support, and breakdown. Selected candidates may be invited to join paid training sessions or trial shifts to become familiar with Tastings’ service standards and event expectations.

Event set-up before guest arrival

Passed hors d’oeuvres and drink service

Buffet and food station support

Basic bar support or bartending service, depending on experience

Wine, beer, cocktail, or mocktail service when required

Clearing plates, glassware, and event areas discreetly

Water service and basic table service

Back-of-house organization

Assisting the Captain and senior event team during the event

Maintaining a clean, polished, and guest-ready environment

Supporting breakdown and post-event organization

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Polished in presentation and comfortable in hospitality environments

Friendly, discreet, and confident around guests

Able to follow event instructions and work as part of a team

Proactive, responsive, and willing to learn Tastings’ event standards

Comfortable standing and moving for several hours

Available for flexible event shifts, including evenings and weekends

Open to working events in NYC, the Hamptons, and surrounding areas when needed

Must be at least 21 years old

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Must be based in New York City or able to commute to events in NYC and surrounding areas

Must be able to communicate clearly in English

Must be punctual, responsive, and professional

Must be able to stand, walk, carry trays, and support event operations for several hours

Previous experience in restaurants, catering, bars, hotels, luxury retail, or events is preferred but not mandatory

French-speaking candidates are welcome, but French is not required.

For bartender roles, previous bar, cocktail, wine, or beverage service experience is strongly preferred.

After several successful event shifts and internal validation, selected team members may be eligible for higher event rates:

$20–$25/hour
, depending on performance, reliability, experience, role, and event needs.

More experienced bartenders or senior event profiles may be considered for higher rates depending on the event scope.

Training sessions or trial shifts may be offered when required.
