Lead Host​/Maître D

Overview

Stout NYC Hospitality Group consists of a dozen owner-operated bars/restaurants throughout New York City. Our mission is to provide authentic, accessible, desirable spaces for people seeking meaningful connections with friends, family, and colleagues. With specific attention to the guest experience and our food and drinks programs, our aim is to create a true home for the public to come as they are.

• Oversee front-of-house (FOH) service as Lead Host/Maître D
• Provide floor engagement and guidance to FOH staff
• Interact with guests and manage guest relations
• Direct and support the service team; sustain service standards and morale
• Support management team with concept execution and operations
• Maintain floor presence, greet and seat guests, organize reservations, and ensure guest satisfaction

• Outgoing, personable, well-groomed, and experienced as a front-of-house team member
• Resy experience required
• Flexible availability, with mostly morning and weekend shifts; some flexibility for vacation or sick coverage
