You’re a hands‑on, emotionally intelligent leader with a proven track record in boutique or luxury hospitality. You thrive on data‑backed decisions, clean audits, impeccable service standards and cultivating a strong, empowered team culture.

Responsibilities Hotel‑Wide Oversight & Guest Experience
  • Oversee all hotel departments—including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Sales—ensuring smooth operations, departmental alignment, and a seamless guest experience.
  • Lead day‑to‑day hotel operations with a focus on excellence, efficiency, and compliance across all service areas.
  • Guide menu development, service standards, and execution to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Uphold NYS labor laws, service charge/tip policies, safety regulations, and brand standards with consistency and integrity.
Financial Strategy & Profitability
  • Drive financial performance by achieving RevPAR goals, increasing total revenue, and maintaining strict cost controls.
  • Own the hotel’s full P&L, managing budget, expenses, and forecasting with precision and strategic foresight.
  • Rebuild and maintain inventory systems and financial controls to ensure transparency, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Develop and present performance reports and KPIs to ownership, using data to inform and refine operational strategy.
Team Leadership & Culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team across all departments, cultivating a workplace rooted in accountability, respect, and inclusion.
  • Foster a culture of excellence through coaching, clear expectations, and a shared commitment to service.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, departmental check‑ins, and staff development initiatives to promote growth and retention.
Compliance & Accountability
  • Ensure operational compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines, including labor laws and payroll practices.
  • Maintain strict adherence to service charge/tip allocation policies and uphold financial integrity across departments.
  • Champion a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach to guest complaints, audits, and internal reviews.
Requirements

Specific qualifications for the role include
  • 7–10 years of progressive hotel leadership; at least 3 years as GM in a boutique or luxury setting
  • Proven P&L and revenue management experience
  • A strong foundation in operations, F&B, guest service, and marketing
  • Confidence in leading with clarity, even under pressure
  • Experience building and retaining strong teams
