* YOU WILL BE:

**** As the Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests at the Bergdorf Goodman Restaurant and play a key role in setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a polished, welcoming presence and the ability to manage reservations, guest flow, and seating with grace and efficiency in a luxury dining environment.

* WHAT YOU WILL DO:

***** Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, reflecting the Bergdorf Goodman brand and service standards
* Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating to ensure optimal dining flow
* Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff regarding table status and guest needs
* Maintain an organized and elegant host stand and entrance area
* Accommodate special guest requests whenever possible with discretion and professionalism
* Monitor dining room activity to ensure guest comfort and service efficiency
* Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and provide accurate wait-time information
* Support opening and closing duties as assigned
**** WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
***** Previous hostess or front-of-house experience preferred; luxury or fine dining experience a plus
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to remain calm and poised in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., Open Table) preferred
* Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours
