Accommodations Clerk

Reports to: Event Manager

Job Summary: The Accommodations Clerk is the first point of contact for guests staying in our on-site hotel-style rooms and cabins. This position is responsible for greeting guests, collecting waivers and payments, and providing a smooth, welcoming check-in experience. The role combines hospitality, organization, payment handling, and guest communication.

This is a flexible, event-based position, with scheduling driven by our event calendar rather than a fixed weekly schedule. Most shifts take place during afternoon, evening, and late-night hours, primarily Thursday through Sunday. Banquet business peaks during April–May and September–November.

We do not host banquet events during June–August due to summer camp operations, but other seasonal opportunities may be available. Additional shifts may also be offered through our fine-dining restaurant and bar during the winter.

  • Monitor arrivals and departures to ensure rooms are guest-ready
  • Communicate guest requests or concerns to the appropriate department
  • Prepare and distribute welcome packets, lodging materials, and signage
  • Perform other duties as requested by management to support operations

  • Able to walk around the property and assist guests as needed
  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, phones, and point-of-sale equipment
  • Able to carry items such as linens, welcome bags, or signage weighing up to 25 pounds

  • Friendly and professional with strong communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable handling cash, credit cards, and guest payment information
