Manages hotel front desk duties (check‑ins, guest requests) during the night shift (~11 PM‑7 AM) while also performing crucial accounting and reporting tasks, balancing daily transactions, verifying guest accounts, and preparing financial/operational reports for management. Other duties may include processing laundry.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Check in and check out guests in a timely and professional manner, processing all payments per established procedures.
  • Provide a warm welcome and create a friction‑free experience, including acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests.
  • Take and manage guest bookings, up‑selling opportunities and informing guests of ways to improve their stay.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, and control safety deposit boxes.
  • Record and act on guest preferences, messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Serve as a trusted contact for all guests, including bill issues and local knowledge, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Follow safety procedures and report incidents; wear protective gear as required.
  • Maintain personal appearance and place as a brand ambassador.
  • Stay informed about day‑to‑day events and activities.
  • Support colleagues with ad‑hoc duties as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is a bonus.
  • At least one year of front desk or guest service experience.
  • Fluent in the local language (additional languages a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and problem‑solving ability.
  • Technically proficient with reading, writing, basic math, and computer use.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), bending and kneeling as required.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts across a 7‑day period.
Compensation

Hourly rate: $20.00 to $24.00. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision, insurance, 401(k), and additional eligible benefits.
