Housekeeping Manager

Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel is seeking a motivated individual looking for career growth. This position is ideal for someone looking to become a Director of Housekeeping.

The Housekeeping Manager will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping and the Director of Operations:

• Developing team schedules
• Purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment as needed while adhering to forecasted expenses
• Assisting hotel guests who have specific housekeeping needs
• Coordinating housekeeping needs with other hotel department managers, including front office, engineering, F&B, and Sales
• Ensure and control compliance with all brand and hotel policies and standards
• Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations
• Be on time at all meetings or announce in advance your representative
• Inspect guest rooms and ensure that the team is maintaining public spaces
• Assist in driving GSS Cleanliness Scores

• Always control the quality of the service and product
• Handle guest complaints independently according to the hotel's philosophy
• Ensure that all staff is knowledgeable on current information
• Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff and review all information pertinent to the day’s business
• Conduct regular department meeting

Please note to be considered for this position. You must have prior Hotel Experience in the housekeeping department in a supervisory or managerial role. The perfect candidate for current Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager seeking to work for a more significant NYC full-service property. With the proper experience, you will be considered for the role!

Must have a fully open schedule - able to work weekends and holidays
