Green Apple Catering & Events is hiring experienced servers who take pride in hospitality and want to work at some of the most high-profile events in New York City.

As an Event Server with Green Apple, you'll provide table service, passed hors d'oeuvres, and buffet service at corporate galas, weddings, product launches, and private celebrations. You'll work under the direction of an Event Captain, maintain Green Apple's service standards, and represent our brand to guests who expect nothing less than exceptional hospitality.

• Provide professional plated, buffet, and passed service at catering events
• Set up dining areas, buffet stations, and service equipment before events
• Serve food and beverages according to the event timeline and service format
• Clear tables, restock stations, and maintain a clean service environment throughout
• Follow the Event Captain's direction on timing, courses, and special requests
• Break down service areas and pack equipment for transport after events

• Prior experience in catering, banquet, or restaurant service
• Polished presentation and a professional, guest-first attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays weighing 25+ pounds
• Punctuality and reliability — being on time is non-negotiable in event service
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

New servers attend an orientation covering Green Apple's service standards, tray handling, plated and passed service techniques, and safety protocols. You'll also receive an on-site briefing from the Event Captain before each event with specific details about the menu and service format.

Green Apple provides specific uniform guidelines for each event. The standard uniform is all black (black shirt, black pants, black non-slip shoes). For certain events, additional uniform elements may be provided or specified by the client.

Shifts are assigned based on the event calendar and your availability. Our events team sends out shift opportunities in advance, and you confirm which ones work for your schedule. Consistent availability and strong performance lead to priority scheduling.

Yes. Green Apple events use a variety of service formats including plated dinners, buffet stations, passed hors d'oeuvres, and family-style service. You should be comfortable working in all formats, and your Event Captain will brief you on the specific setup for each event.
