Housekeeper​/Laundry Worker

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities. Pay: $17.00 per hour.

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle laundry operations efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by executing regular cleaning routines.
• Adhere to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines for handling chemical agents safely and responsibly.
• Utilize janitorial equipment effectively for floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, buffing, and polishing surfaces to ensure pristine conditions.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to prioritize tasks and ensure consistent quality standards are met.
• Assist with heavy lifting when moving furniture or large laundry loads while practicing proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury.

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of sanitation practices.
• Strong skills in floor cleaning and floor care techniques using various cleaning equipment.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with safety data sheets (SDS).
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Proficiency in vacuuming, general cleaning tasks, and the use of janitorial supplies.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during cleaning routines.
