Assistant Catering Manager

Aramark is seeking an Assistant Catering Manager for Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. In this role, you support all aspects of catering operations for games, events, suites, and special functions. Responsibilities include coordinating event setup and breakdown, supervising front-of-house teams, monitoring food quality and presentation, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety and stadium regulations. You'll assist with scheduling, inventory, and cost control while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day catering operations at Citi Field for games, events, and special functions
• Coordinate event setup, service flow, and breakdown to meet client and stadium standards
• Supervise and support catering service staff, including training and shift oversight
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and timeliness in partnership with culinary teams
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, alcohol service, and NYC health regulations
• Assist with staff scheduling, labor tracking, and communication of event details
• Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for catering supplies and products
• Respond to guest and client needs, resolving service issues quickly and professionally
• Collaborate with stadium, Aramark, and vendor partners on logistics and event execution
• Support reporting, cash handling, and post-event reviews to drive continuous improvement
