Job Summary: The Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for maintaining and replenishing mini bars in guest rooms to ensure a high-quality guest experience. This role ensures accurate stocking, proper rotation of products, and adherence to company standards for presentation and hygiene. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to supporting guest satisfaction through efficient and consistent service.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Mini Bar Stocking & Replenishment:
  • Replenish mini bars in guest rooms according to established standards and inventory guidelines.
  • Verify that all items are within expiration dates and properly labeled.
  • Ensure mini bars are stocked with accurate quantities and correctly priced.
  • Report any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged products to management promptly.
Inventory Control & Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of mini bar inventory and usage.
  • Track consumption and update systems to reflect charges accurately.
  • Assist with mini bar inventory counts and audits as required.
  • Report trends in usage or guest preferences to management for optimization.
Guest Service & Presentation:
  • Ensure all mini bars are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests related to mini bar items.
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and front desk teams regarding room readiness and guest needs.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness when handling products.
Operational Support:
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure timely service and room readiness.
  • Follow established procedures for handling deliveries, storing products, and disposing of expired items.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues related to mini bars.
Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and handling of perishable items.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all mini bar products.
  • Follow safety protocols when moving supplies or accessing guest rooms.
Team Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to support operational goals.
  • Communicate inventory issues, guest requests, or operational needs effectively.
  • Assist other departments as needed to maintain seamless guest service.
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous hospitality, housekeeping, or food service experience is a plus.
  • Basic experience with inventory tracking or guest room service preferred.
Skills/Specialized Knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle products safely and maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and mini bar charges.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., mini bar trays, supplies).
  • Ability to work in guest rooms and back-of-house areas.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
