Position Summary

The Porter plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, comfort, and day-to-day readiness of House
120. This position is responsible for ensuring that member-facing and team spaces are consistently clean, organized, fully stocked, and welcoming. Porters are expected to combine strong housekeeping standards with warm, attentive hospitality and to respond quickly to the needs of members, guests, and teammates throughout the club.

Key Responsibilities

Club Cleanliness: Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the club, including the lobby, locker rooms, restrooms, showers, fitness and training areas, recovery spaces, staff areas, and other shared spaces.

Housekeeping: Complete routine and deep-cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, disinfecting, and spot-cleaning surfaces, fixtures, floors, mirrors, and high-touch areas.

Locker Room & Amenity Readiness: Continuously monitor locker rooms, restrooms, and shower areas; replenish towels, toiletries, paper goods, and other member amenities before supplies run low.

Laundry & Linen: Support the collection, washing, drying, folding, organization, and distribution of towels and linens as needed to keep the club fully stocked and operating smoothly.

Experience:

Acknowledge members and guests warmly, provide assistance when appropriate, and help create a polished, welcoming environment through proactive and discreet service.

Club Reset: Reset rooms and common areas throughout the day so that spaces remain organized, properly arranged, and ready for the next member, appointment, class, or event.

Waste & Recycling: Remove trash, recycling, and other waste promptly and in accordance with House
120 procedures, maintaining sanitary and orderly back-of-house and member-facing spaces.

Maintenance Reporting: Identify spills, damage, equipment issues, supply shortages, safety hazards, or other facility concerns and promptly

Event & Team Support: Assist with room setup, breakdown, deliveries, special events, member programming, and other operational needs as requested.

Safety & Standards: Follow all House
120 cleaning, safety, security, and sanitation procedures and use cleaning products and equipment appropriately.

Team

Collaboration:

Partner closely with Hospitality, Operations, Concierge, Training, and other House
120 teams to support a seamless member experience and overall club operations.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping, porter, facilities, hospitality, fitness, wellness, hotel, or luxury service experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness, presentation, and organization.

Warm, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and respond to changing priorities throughout the shift.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teammates across departments.

Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, products, and equipment preferred.

Physical Requirements
