Location: New York

Our client, a prestigious global Am Law firm, is seeking a Hospitality & Events Supervisor to lead and elevate the hospitality and client experience within its New York office.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing reception, catering, events, conference services, vendors, and workplace hospitality, with a strong focus on service excellence, team development, and operational efficiency.

This role will be on-site in NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop reception and catering teams, ensuring consistently elevated service standards
  • Oversee in-house meetings, catering, conferences, and firm-sponsored events from planning through execution
  • Manage catering and hospitality vendors, inventory, invoices, and service quality
  • Develop and implement SOPs, service standards, and process improvements to streamline operations
  • Partner closely with Facilities, Office Services, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless office operations
  • Coordinate event logistics, conference rooms, catering setups, and day-to-day workplace hospitality
  • Drive a polished, professional experience for clients, visitors, attorneys, and employees

Key

Qualifications:

  • Prior law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality, catering, food service, conference services, hotel operations, workplace experience, or a similar service-driven environment
  • Proven experience leading and developing service-oriented teams
  • Strong vendor management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience creating SOPs, improving processes, and elevating service standards
  • Professional, polished, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
