Key Responsibilities- Prepare a wide range of sushi, including nigiri, sashimi, and hand rolls, with precision and consistency.
- Ensure all ingredients meet the highest standards for freshness and quality.
- Collaborate with frontofhouse staff to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and sanitary workspace.
- Manage inventory and communicate supply needs proactively.
- Uphold presentation and service standards for every seating.
- Travel between company locations and events as needed.
- Train new staff on company standards, techniques, and procedures.
- Proven experience as a sushi chef in fine dining or fastpaced settings.
- Skilled at managing workflow and accommodating guest requests.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Engaging and personable with guests.
- Knowledgeable in traditional sushi techniques and modern culinary trends.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel between locations.
