The Dining Room Manager position at Glen Head Country Club in Glen Head, NY is a great opportunity for a detailed oriented individual who aspires to grow and be part of one of the most desirable family clubs on the North Shore of Long Island. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in club food and beverage service operations, displayexcellent and engaging leadership skills, and have experience implementing successful training programs and standards of service excellence to exceed member expectations.

Glen Head Country Club is regarded as one of the finest clubs on Long Island. It is situated on over 160 acres of land encompassing a 6,700-yard, par 71 Devereaux Emmet designed golf course. Recently, the Club underwent a full refurbishment of the entire first floor of the Clubhouse including the ballroom, dining rooms, kitchen, living room, ladies' locker room and a beautiful patio.

Glen Head Country Club amenities includes an outstanding 18-hole golf course, 6 Har-thru tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts, aquatics facility, snack bar, fitness center, men's and ladies card rooms and locker rooms. Responsible for the day-to-day management of dining room service. Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining rooms. Supervise and train dining room staff; manage within budgetary restraints; develop/implement programs to maintain/improve our service standards.

• Ideally, a graduate with a Hospitality Management degree, or a minimum of five years of dining experience in (preferred but not required) a private member-owned country club.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with a desire to progress and grow within the role and within the industry.
• A true team builder, with the ability to thoughtfully engage, lead, and work alongside long tenured team members and international staff.
• A thoughtful, diplomatic individual who has the ability to engage and interact with members and staff.
• Have a strong and highly visible and respectful presence with the staff and membership and have the maturity to instinctively know how to treat members and guests with a high level of service.

• A minimum of an associate degree is preferred with a focus on Hospitality Management.
• Private club experience is preferred but other hospitality experience will be also considered.

Starting Salary range $75,000 - $80,000. The club offers an excellent bonus and benefits package including CMAA association membership.
