HR Business Partner needed for a growing firm in Rockland County, NY. Lead impactful HR initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Drive workforce strategies, employee relations and talent management for organizational growth. Must be bilingual Spanish and have experience with unions.

Hybrid schedule: 3-4 days onsite, traveling to different sites in the county.

Hours:

8:30-5:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner, supporting leadership and employees in achieving organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives to enhance workforce engagement and retention.
  • Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Utilize data analysis to identify trends and implement strategies for reducing turnover and absenteeism.
  • Analyze workforce data to develop strategies for improving retention and engagement.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations and development.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and ethical practices in all HR operations.
  • Support labor relations activities and contribute to HR project initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate on HR projects and initiatives to drive organizational improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and HRIS tools; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish and labor relations experience a plus.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and government requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and project management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple locations within upstate New York.
