Job DescriptionAddison Group is partnering with our client to hire an HRIS Specialist to support employee data integrity, payroll coordination, and system compliance across multiple HR and workforce platforms. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with HR systems, audits, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesHRIS Data Management & Staffing Support
- Maintain accurate employee records across HRIS and workforce systems, including processing new hires, job changes, terminations, and required documentation
- Manage ongoing updates and audits within the time and attendance system to ensure schedules, access, rates, and entitlements remain accurate
- Review employee classifications to confirm proper staffing status and compliance with internal standards
- Conduct regular audits throughout the employee lifecycle to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by ensuring employee data is complete and up to date
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Operations teams to respond to inquiries and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
- Analyze and manipulate large data sets to identify errors, trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Perform cross-system audits to validate data consistency across HR, payroll, and employee self-service platforms
- Identify and recommend improvements to streamline HRIS and data processing workflows
- Escalate complex labor or client-related concerns to HR leadership when appropriate
- Work closely with the payroll team to support weekly payroll processing and resolve discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve timekeeping issues in collaboration with field teams and payroll staff
- Review payroll and labor reports to ensure accurate employee status, hours, and classifications
- Maintain union system updates to ensure timely reporting of employee status changes and prevent penalties
- Submit union dues notifications to payroll for review and processing in accordance with deadlines
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience working with Workday and Oracle platforms is required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and audit large volumes of data
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
