We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, people-focused work, and building a strong employee experience. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in HR administration, recruitment coordination, compliance support, and performance management.
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS in compliance with healthcare and labor regulations
- Track employee status changes, certifications, and required documentation
- Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR-related questions from staff
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including healthcare-specific requirements
- Track mandatory trainings such as HIPAA, OSHA, harassment prevention, and safety training
- Assist with audits and documentation requests as needed
- Assist with background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions
- Coordinate with benefits providers and brokers
- Assist with performance review cycles, including scheduling, documentation, and tracking completion
- Maintain performance evaluation records and ensure timely follow-ups
- Support corrective action and disciplinary documentation in coordination with HR leadership
- Help track employee goals, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and related outcomes
- Prepare HR reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, and performance metrics
- Support employee engagement, wellness, and retention initiatives
- Assist HR leadership with special projects and process improvements
- 2–3 years of HR administrative experience required
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems
- Experience supporting benefits or performance management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- SHRM or HR certification (a plus, not required)
