Recruiter, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Client: Building Services Organization
Role: High-Volume Recruiter
Location: Long Island City, Queens
Pay: $27/hour

• Talent Acquisition: Interview, hire, and onboard staffing replacements.
• Coordination: Schedule and forecast interview appointments depending on staffing needs.
• Compliance: Execute the hiring and application process according to company practices and legal compliance.
• Onboarding: Handle/coordinate New Hire Orientation and Onboarding by reviewing company guidelines, work expectations, rules, and practices.
• Vetting: Process background checks in compliance with company practices and client-specific requirements.
• Systems Management: Enroll employees in the time and attendance system and process activity changes as necessary.
• Labor Relations: Monitor union card submissions and union dues.
• Payroll Liaison: Interact with the payroll team in an effective and positive manner to process and resolve payroll-related issues according to regulations and legal compliance.

• Education: High School Degree minimum;
  College Degree in business or HR highly desired.
• Language: Spanish communication skills are a must.
