Executive Assistant / Special Assistant – Human Resources
Location: New York, NY 10041 (Onsite)
Contract: 3+ months, with potential extension
Pay Rate: $48–$50/hour
Start Date: February 2, 2026
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant / Special Assistant – Human Resources to support the Senior Vice President of Human Resources
. This is a highly visible role that contributes to HR transformation, governance, and strategic initiatives across the organization.
This position serves as a trusted partner to senior leadership, providing high-level executive and administrative support while driving HR operations, project management, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the Senior Vice President of Human Resources in meetings as required
- Manage HR Council, Recruitment Council, and HR Governance meetings, including agendas, materials, logistics, and Webex coordination
- Support HR initiatives such as departmental reorganizations, job description standardization, and annual leave programs
- Serve as Project Manager for major HR initiatives, maintaining dashboards, metrics, and reports
- Drive process improvement, standard work development, and change management efforts
- Track, research, and facilitate HR policy and procedure reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of executive-level administrative and project management experience
- Prior experience supporting Human Resources or Organizational Development strongly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
(May shift to 10:00 AM–6:00 PM based on business needs)
