Job Description
CFG Merchant Solutions, LLC (CFGMS) is seeking a human resources administrator to join our rapidly growing team. This is an onsite position based in our NYC headquarters based in the Financial District. We provide working capital to small-and medium‑sized businesses throughout the U.S. in the form of Revenue‑Based Financing with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida. This role reports directly to the CEO, with significant interactions with our senior management team.
Responsibilities- HR Administration (50%) – Owner of onboarding logistics.
- Offer letters, background checks, I–9 verification, new hire paperwork, system setup, and Day 1 coordination.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with federal/state regulations.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
- Coordinate PTO administration.
- Work with managers to ensure timely and complete annual reviews.
- Help implement HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
- Support HR reporting, audits, and compliance tasks.
- Recruiting (50%) – Manage full‑cycle recruiting for assigned roles (including summer interns), including intake, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and offer coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, create compelling job postings, and ensure a consistent, equitable hiring process.
- Be the administrator of Greenhouse, our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), managing all postings and ensuring processes are followed by all participants.
- Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews across teams.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or people operations.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms (Greenhouse experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship‑building abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices preferred.
Salary Range : $65,000 USD - $80,000 USD
