Payroll Administrator

Location: Jericho

Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Jericho, New York. This position offers a hybrid work environment and requires someone who is detail oriented with a strong background in payroll processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing payroll for large employee groups and be proficient in using Workday.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee full-cycle payroll processing for a workforce of up to 1,000 employees.

- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll regulations and tax requirements.

- Utilize Workday to manage payroll operations effectively and efficiently.

- Maintain accurate payroll records and handle audits or discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll integration.

- Monitor and implement changes to payroll policies in accordance with legal standards.

- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.

- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management.

- Conduct regular reviews of payroll systems to identify and resolve inefficiencies. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration.

- Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll.

- Demonstrated ability to manage payroll for large groups, preferably up to 1,000 employees.

- Strong experience with Workday payroll systems.

- Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and tax compliance standards.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
