Payroll Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll administration for union and non‑union employees. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have hands‑on experience managing payroll systems such as Workday or Oracle. This role is responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance with state and federal regulations, and timely processing for all staff.

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for both union and non‑union employees.
• Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations, deductions, and benefits.
• Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) for union employees.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll laws and reporting requirements.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll‑related journal entries for Finance.
• Partner with HR and Finance teams to support audits, reporting, and system updates.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally, both in English and Spanish.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including union payroll management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Proficiency in Workday or Oracle payroll systems (required).
• Strong knowledge of multi‑state payroll laws and union contracts.
• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills.

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification.
• Experience in a mid‑to‑large organization or multi‑site environment.
