Overview
Workday Consultant (Integrations & Reporting) HCM Modules
- Location:
New York City (mid-town) - This is a contract to hire role.
- This is an onsite role.
- Only US Citizens and Greencard holders.
- NO visa sponsorship, OPT et. for this role.
- We are seeking a Workday Consultant with strong Integrations and Reporting/Analytics expertise and broad exposure across core HCM modules (Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Learning, Benefits/Payroll, Security).
- You will serve as a hands-on SME partnering with HR, Payroll, and IT to design scalable solutions, deliver high-quality integrations and reports.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using EIBs, Studio, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.
- Build complex inbound and outbound integrations involving Payroll, HR, and Finance data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration errors using Integration Event Logs, Integration Monitor, and Workday Studio logs.
- Document integration designs, technical specifications, and runbooks for operational support.
- Collaborate with business teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and secure data exchange.
- Support and implement new use cases in WD PRISM.
- Develop Workday reports and analytics including advanced, matrix and composite reports in WD.
- Provide expert level technical application support by troubleshooting, resolving, and/or escalating issues as needed.
- Can debug issues related to configurations in Benefits, Core HR, Payroll, Absence and Time tracking modules.
- 3–5+ years of Workday experience with hands-on Integrations and Reporting
. - Proven delivery using Workday Studio

, Core Connectors
, RaaS
, WWS (SOAP/REST),
XSLT
, XML
, JSON
, calculated fields
, and security. - Broad functional exposure to Core HCM and at least four of:
Compensation/Advanced Compensation
, Absence
, Time Tracking
, Recruiting
, Talent & Performance
, Learning
, Benefits
, Payroll
. - Experience building matrix, advance, trending and composite reports.
- Exposure to dashboards and discovery boards is a plus.
- Strong SQL or data querying concepts; comfort with data transformation and mapping.
- Exposure to PRISM and Extend is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiar with ETL/ELT tools like Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric platform is a plus.
- Familiar with Azure Entra Identity and Access management is a plus.
