Location: New York

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing employee payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of payroll regulations and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for all employees on a biweekly/monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain payroll records, timesheets, and attendance data.
  • Review and verify employee information, salary changes, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Manage tax with holdings, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth coordination of payroll activities.
  • Generate payroll reports and assist with audits when required.
  • Ensure confidentiality and protection of sensitive employee data.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and labor laws.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
