We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Onboarding Specialist to join our team in New York City. This role will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for new hires, particularly within a fast-paced Media/Production environment.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with I-9 verification
, E-Verify onboarding processes, and basic payroll support.

• Manage end-to-end onboarding process for new hires
• Conduct and ensure accurate I-9 verification and E-Verify employment eligibility documentation
• Coordinate background checks and required compliance documentation
• Support new hire orientation and onboarding sessions
  
  Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Hiring Managers to ensure smooth employee transitions
• Provide basic payroll support (data entry, timesheets, employee records updates)
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies

• 2+ years of experience in Onboarding / HR Operations
• Hands‑on experience with I-9 verification & E-Verify
• Basic experience supporting Payroll processes
• Experience working in Media / Production industry
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
