We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Summer Analyst to join the People Team. This role is located in New York, NY.

Our 24-month analyst program is a holistic talent development journey offering rotational experiences designed to prepare you for your future career. Through projects across the specific line of business, you will receive a panoramic view of BNY’s entire global franchise, providing insight into the operation of one of the world  largest banks. In each of these roles, you will work on high-priority initiatives and develop analytical and interpersonal skills.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be considered for high impact roles in multiple functions.

The People Team function focuses on improving how we work by investing in our people, improving processes, leveraging technology-driven innovation, and delivering a high-quality experience for our stakeholders. People Team Summer Interns will have the opportunity to work in one of the following areas:
Talent Acquisition, Operations, Learning and Leadership Development, Employee Relations, Thrive Together, Compensation, or Benefits & Wellbeing. You’ll contribute to impactful projects across the People Function, analytics, and technology, with opportunities to explore employee experience, workforce analytics, change management, and AI in a dynamic, global environment.

  Analyze and improve onboarding or internal mobility experiences using employee feedback and digital tools.
• Test AI in Action:
  Support pilots of generative AI tools that enhance People operations, such as drafting knowledge articles or powering internal help bots.
• Bring Data to Life:
  Build or refine dashboards that track key people metrics—like engagement trends, exit patterns, or learning participation.
• Drive Internal Talent Mobility:
  Contribute to initiatives that match employees to open roles or projects based on skills, interests, and business needs.
• Voice of the Employee:
  Help run pulse surveys or focus groups and synthesize insights to inform people strategies.
• Support Change Initiatives:
  Create toolkits, communications, or digital materials that help employees navigate change confidently.
• Research Future
  
  Skills:
  
  Conduct competitor and market research to inform our evolving skills framework and workforce strategy.

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
• Graduating in Dec 2025 or May 2026 (U.S.)
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.
