Overview
Job Description Development, execution and oversight of human resource strategy and initiatives in support of the overall business plan, mission and strategic direction of the organization.

Responsibilities- Functions as a strategic business partner and advisor to sr. leadership regarding organizational and management issues relating to human capital.
- Collaborates with sr. leadership to establish management succession that corresponds with the strategy and objectives of the firm.
- Oversees the development of comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention strategies to meet the human capital needs of the business as well as strategic goals.
- Develops HR policies and procedures for effective human capital management and in support of the firm's business operations and objectives.
- Oversees the implementation and management of employment law and compliance efforts.
- Partners with members of external legal teams to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risks.
- Develops and oversees the implementation of comprehensive benefit plans and programs that are competitive and cost effective.
- Provides overall leadership and guidance to the HR department by overseeing all aspects of functionality, including talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, career development, retention, HR systems, internal programs and benefits.
- Optimizes the HR function by conducting periodic reviews and analyses to determine HR operational effectiveness.
- Refines key processes and activities aligned with achieving optimal business goals and objectives.
- Develops and oversees annual budgets for the department and performs periodic reviews to ensure cost effectiveness and budget adherence.
- Supervises, coaches and collaborates with HR managers and staff.
- Responsible for performance management, professional growth and career development of HR personnel.
- Interacts with vendors and external partners to create and maintain relationships, negotiate agreements and contracts and obtain optimal outcomes.
- Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional methods to add value to the firm; performs other duties as requested.
- Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
- 10+ years' senior management experience.
- Thorough knowledge of employment, related laws and regulations.
- High level of business acumen, direct knowledge of professional services.
- Sound judgment capability and strategically oriented.
- Self starter with the ability to work well within groups.
- Ability to motivate and lead others.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Exhibits behaviors that demonstrate diplomacy and discretion.

- In-depth knowledge of HR technology solutions with proven experience in HR digitization, HR systems implementation, employee self-process automation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and HR Systems.
The Sr. HR Director will lead the HR team to support business leaders and their departments to achieve their goals with effective HR related programs. The Sr. HR Director develops corporate HR plans, supports the human factor in the company, oversees HR initiatives, and ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role will provide counsel to senior leadership and employees staying current on best practices to help shape processes and programs that continue to enhance the employee experience.
