About Our ClientAddison Group is partnering with a well‑established organization in the professional services space that is seeking additional support within its benefits function. This role joins a collaborative HR team during a period of increased workload and offers the opportunity to convert to a permanent position.
Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a Benefits Analyst with hands‑on experience managing leave of absence programs and supporting employee benefits administration. This role will play a key part in ensuring leave requests are processed accurately, benefits programs are administered compliantly, and employees receive clear guidance throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate employee leave of absence requests, including FMLA, parental leave, military leave, and short- and long-term disability, in alignment with applicable laws and internal policies
- Act as a knowledgeable resource for employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leave programs and benefits‑related questions
- Partner with third‑party vendors to ensure timely review, documentation, and tracking of leave cases
- Collaborate closely with HRIS, payroll, and management teams to support seamless leave start and return‑to‑work processes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with benefit plan rules and regulatory requirements
- Provide support across benefits administration as needed, including retirement plan processes such as enrollments, reconciliations, and compliance support
- Assist with benefits reporting, audits, and documentation related to headcount, accruals, and chargebacks
- Support open enrollment activities, benefits updates, and year‑end processes
- Stay informed on changes to benefits regulations and assist with special projects related to benefits administration
- 2+ years of experience in leave of absence administration and benefits operations (health, welfare, and retirement plans); 4+ years preferred
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with benefits administration systems such as bswift or SAP is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills
- Detail‑oriented, solution‑focused, and collaborative team player
- Contract length: 6 months, with potential for conversion
- Full‑time schedule (40 hours/week)
- Occasional overtime may be required
