University Relations Recruiter - R45117 (6‑month contract)
Known for its scientific and operational excellence, Regeneron is a leading science‑based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, invents, develops, manufactures, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. Regeneron markets medicines for eye diseases, atopic dermatitis, asthma, COPD, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), oncology, hypercholesterolemia, and rare inflammatory conditions. Regeneron also has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need.
PositionDescription
Hires high volume of interns and co‑ops, while partnering closely with the US‑wide University Relations Team to plan and execute US‑wide interview days. Focuses on candidate and hiring manager experience, positioning the company/organisation as an employer of choice in bringing innovative and novel medicine to patients. Responsible for executing campus recruiting strategies at core schools. Collaborates with the Global UR Team to run global and local program events.
Roles & Responsibilities- Works with business leaders and HRBP team on Global Intern hiring model, approval process, and hiring manager request process for at least one third of the US Non‑IOPS Program (over 100 roles)
- Develops and maintains relationships with hiring managers to understand their team and business needs, hiring interns and co‑ops across multiple business organizations
- Drives US‑wide interview days timeline and execution with the US UR Team and hiring managers
- Selects applicants, reviews online interviews, and shares selected students with hiring managers
- Partners with US‑wide UR Team, hiring managers and students on candidate selection, debriefs, and offers
- Leads planning and execution of some global and local intern and co‑op events
- Ensures managers, interns, and co‑ops are adequately informed of the process and expectations
- Builds relationships with program participants to ensure positive experience
- Engages and manages relationships with career services, students, student organizations including student groups, and university professors/staff at core schools
- 2–5 years of experience in University Relations or related recruiting experience
- MS Office – including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with campus engagement and CRM tools (Beamery) a plus
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and/or client relationships
- Strong process orientation, client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships with customers, candidates, and schools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Possesses strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to meet goals and objectives in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment
- Must be able to travel up to 10 %
- Must have a passion for delivering quality experiences for internal customers and stakeholders
