Position Overview

Level

UP HCS is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Advisor with 7–10 years of recruiting experience within front office- investment banking, capital markets, private equity, asset management, or a leading recruitment/search firm supporting financial services clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of full lifecycle recruiting for revenue-generating front-office roles
, including Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Research, Private Credit, Capital Markets, and Corporate Banking
. This individual will operate as a strategic talent advisor to senior business leaders while managing high-touch candidate relationships in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities Full Lifecycle Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for front-office financial services positions across Analyst through Managing Director levels.
  • Source, identify, and engage high-caliber talent through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, Linked In Recruiter, ATS platforms, and market mapping strategies.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of investment banking and financial services professionals for immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct detailed candidate assessments, behavioral interviews, and technical qualification reviews aligned with business requirements and market standards.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to define role specifications, hiring priorities, and competitive talent strategies.
  • Manage offer negotiations, compensation discussions, and candidate closing processes with professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and reporting metrics within applicant tracking systems.
Relationship Management & Business Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across investment banking and financial services business lines.
  • Develop deep understanding of business functions, team culture, market dynamics, and competitor landscapes.
  • Build strong relationships with both active and passive candidates while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, compensation teams, and recruiting leadership on workforce planning and hiring strategy.
  • Mentor junior recruiters and sourcing specialists on market intelligence, candidate engagement, and recruitment best practices.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Recruiting
  • Stay informed on market trends, compensation benchmarks, competitor hiring activity, and talent movement within the financial services industry.
  • Provide strategic market insights and talent advisory support to hiring managers and leadership teams.
  • Utilize recruiting analytics and reporting tools to track pipeline activity, hiring metrics, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs), recruiting dashboards, and leadership reporting initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 7–10 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience within Investment banking or financial services organizations, and/or Executive search firms or recruitment agencies specializing in financial services/front-office recruiting.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for front-office global markets or investment banking roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial services organizational structures, compensation models, and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and managing high-touch candidate processes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems, Linked In Recruiter, and recruitment reporting tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience recruiting across Investment Banking, M&A, Capital Markets, Sales & Trading, Equity Research, or Private Markets.
